What kind of work does REpower SOLUTIONS do?
REpower SOLUTIONS helps business owners and homeowners implement sensible engery solutions to address energy challenges. We will design and install solar electric and wind energy systems. REpower also plans and implements lighting upgrades and electric car charging stations. We also perform electrical work for renovations or new construction.

Does REpower SOLUTIONS work with residential or commercial customers?
We work with both residential and commercial customers. We also work with government and institutional facilities.

What is the payback for a wind or solar project?
The return on investment varies for each project. Factors such as size, applicable tax incentives, and financing structure impact the estimated payback period. The devil is always in the details!

Is wind or solar better?
The productivity of your energy project depends on your resource. If the location offers great unobstructed solar exposure, then solar may be a better match, particularly if you would like to grow the system in the future. Where there is wind ripping through flags with some force and regularity, then perhaps a wind turbine can be productive. We can help you the pros and cons of different technologies.

Why should we consider a lighting upgrade?
Lighting can account for a significant amount of an electricity bill for all the spaces in which we live and work. Clearly we need lights, why not operate the most cost-effective lights that provide adequate illumination? Lighting technologies continue to improve and offer short term paybacks.

What is an energy audit?
Energy audits will most commonly evaluate the building and its construction as well as some of the energy consuming appliances and equipment. The intent is to identify some improvement opportunities that can lead to energy cost savings in your home or facility. REpower can help you understand where the energy is going and where you can improve.

How long have you been in business?
REpower SOLUTIONS was established in 2004. We have been working primarily in Northeast Ohio. Our work takes us to the many customers throughout the state of Ohio.

What is your typical process?
Certainly you have questions as you begin your exploration. We have some questions too. As we begin our conversation, we request some time to discuss your ideas with you on the phone to see if REpower’s services can help you address your energy challenges. If there seems to be a reasonable fit, we ask that you invite us to discuss more the details of your goals in person. We will use our time together to understand your goals and hurdles. Together, through our next few conversations or meetings, we hope to develop a solution to address your needs.
